Availability of Products
Despite our best efforts to maintain fully up to date stock records it may sometimes happen that we are unable to fulfil an order. In this case, customers will be contacted directly to make alternative arrangements.
Pricing
Prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include Goods and Services Tax within New Zealand.
Payment
Payments can be made by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) or by Internet Banking. We only accept New Zealand credit cards.
Delivery and Export
Devan Plastics works closely with a leading distribution company that specializes in the shipment of our products.
Your choice of Delivery Date is indicative and is subject to confirmation. Confirmation of a Delivery Date will be subject to product availability and a scheduled delivery to your area. Once a Delivery Date has been indicated by you one of our Sales team will be in touch to discuss it with you and confirm a final date.

Delivery Charges
Devan Plastics strives to keep the prices of its products as low as possible. We do not subsidize the delivery cost by inflating the price of the product. Delivery charges are dependent upon the location of the order recipient and the size of the order.
For delivery of Devan above ground water tanks – No charge within mainland NZ (ie North and South Island) to the property gate, provided the is suitable public road access. Narrow or low bridges, power lines, tress or other such structures preventing access by the delivery truck are not suitable for delivery to gate and the tank will be delivered as close as practical at Devan Plastics discretion.
Where accessories or other non-tank products are ordered online they will attract freight charges. Freight is capped to $15 per order for smaller items that can be bundled together, is per item for larger items such as pumps, pump covers, drums and bins and is zero if a tank product is ordered either individually or collectively with smaller items. Additional freight is charged where delivery (without a tank) is to a rural delivery area.
Rural addresses will have a $5.00 surcharge.
Claims for Breakages & Refunds
Upon receipt of your order, you should carefully inspect it to make sure that it is intact and in full. The courier must be informed of breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. We will not accept any claims for breakages or shortages unless they are stated on the couriers’ documentation. We must have confirmation of these breakages or shortages within 7 days of the delivery.
Refunds are issued at the discretion of the company management within 30-days period after date of purchase. Please contact us Devan Plastics ltd with any questions.
Damage in Transit
If products are broken or damaged in transit to you, the damaged goods must be returned to us. Shipping costs for the damaged portion of the delivery back to us is at our expense – customers must contact us to arrange the return shipping. Devan Plastics can only credit customers for the items that have been damaged upon safe receipt of the products into our hands.
Handling Complaints
We deal with complaints effectively, in a fair, confidential, and speedy manner. We endeavor to respond to all complaints within five working days.
Website Security
All of our transactions take place in a secure environment and we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us, to prevent unauthorized access. The web site registers each individual with their e-mail address and a password – both of which you provide. You are entirely responsible if you do not maintain the confidentiality of your ID and password. You are entirely responsible for all activities that occur under your user ID and password. If there has been any unauthorized use of your user ID or any breach of security known to you, you must inform us immediately.

Payment Express is a Paymark Certified Solutions Provider that specializes in payment enabling technologies for eCommerce applications making payment processing easy and lowering the technology entry level and cost. Payment Express also meet the ongoing requirements for participation in the program. This means that we have proven our ability to provide payment solutions that meet the high standards required by New Zealand banks.
3-Party (hosted) Processing
This secure HTTPS interface PxPay 2.0 allows you to provide the most secure method of payments processing for customer facing eCommerce sites. Whilst protecting your customer’s private details it also allows you to participate in the Verified by Visa and MasterCard Securecode fraud reduction schemes, saving you money on some of the risks of chargebacks. This is the type of processing that is most commonly approved by the banks.
